10 Year Anniversary
Ok, so I have come to the realization that I’m starting to get older. I woke up on Aug 28th and realized that it had been 10 years since the day I married Julie. I’m blessed with a very patient wife who has put up with more crap than she deserves. (She deserved a little of it) I decided that it was about time to reward her for being such a wonderful wife. Here is what we did for our 10th anniversary
1st things first “A Brand New Car”…Well not really but I’ve always loved the Price is Right so I had to use the phrase. We bought a 2007 Suburban off of Ebay (2nd vehicle purchased on ebay) and flew down to California to pick it up.
I had spoken to the seller about 10 times on the phone and didn’t know quite what to expect so we landed in Burbank a little nervous. Henry (seller) picked us up at the airport in the Burb and we headed down the road to the owner’s house. Her husband has just passed away and had no need for the surburban any more. They were an extremely nice Turkish family that treated us like a king an queen when we arrived. They had Turkish cofee, Danishes, candy and snacks all ready for us. We hung out in the backyard and took care of the paperwork and bid them farewell.
Later that night (9/29/2008) we went down to Angels stadium to watch the Angels play the Rangers. It was a beast trying to get down there because traffic was horrible. It took almost 2 hours to drive what usually takes 45 minutes.

(Notice the Gray Shirt and Red Hat…it is important)
The game was awesome. I missed seeing them play the Yanks by 1 week which would have been even better. We were sitting down the right field line on the second row. Well in the 6th inning Garret Anderson smashed a HR our way…Well, Lets see the video first.
Get the Flash Player to see this player.
Oh Baby, thats right. I got the HR ball. It flew over my head and hit the guy behind me in the chest and fell to the ground. There was a minor scrum for the ball but I came out victorius. I paused the video as I come up with the ball…Hard to see but that is me.
Once the excitement of the game was over we headed to Six Flags the next day…Long line created for a very long day. We went on Tatsu twice, Viper once and X2 once. That took almost 7 hours. The rides were awesome, but WOW the lines sucked.
On our way home we stayed in Vegas…It just isn’t as much fun as it used to be so there isn’t much to write about. Overall the vacation was a blast with the highlight being the Angels game. Here is to another 10 years.

Babe, I love what you did to your blog you did an awesome job!
Julie does put up with a lot of crap! She and my wife should start a group therapy since I do the same! Congrats on 10 years!
